For Search Firms
Finding qualified candidates and having them succeed. Your two goals. I can help with both!
Women face particular obstacles when searching for a job. They need to overcome all the biases that come with being a woman in the work place. Engaging in a mock interview with an experienced administrator helps in their preparation.
Additionally, women who accept a leadership role are often unsure how to navigate in an institutional culture that is unfamiliar or resistant to female leadership. Having a coach at least through the first year helps. Candidates can negotiate for this resource at the point of hire.

Coaching programs can be pricey and often need to be more specialized in higher education needs. As part of their compensation package, candidates can negotiate for ongoing support as they acclimate to new roles or promotions. I can be available to offer my own experience and guidance through the first year of placement or beyond.

Having been a part of search committees, I have mastered the criteria needed to identify quality candidates and have direct experience vetting potential hires. I can offer an additional preparation by offering model interviews and discussing the campus visit experience from the hosting institution's perspective.
